Did you know that not getting enough sleep can affect the body's processing of carbohydrate storage in the body? Obviously, sleep could maintain the hormone ghrelin, which makes us hungry, and the hormone leptin keeps us feeling full. If you don't get enough sleep, the ghrelin hormone will increase while the leptin hormone will decrease, causing you to feel hungry and eat a lot of food like crazy.

For those in a weight loss program or avoiding weight gain, it would be great if you have enough sleep and avoid staying up late.
